About AnneMarie Shawi
Born and raised in Switzerland to an American mother and an Egyptian father, AnneMarie Shawi is no stranger to cultural diversity and exchange. AnneMarie has always been fascinated by the blending of cultures and emotions, which is apparent in her music.
Having joined a choir at age four and continued with music and singing lessons through her adolescence, AnneMarie moved to Boston at age 18 to pursue music as a career. Graduating from the prestigious Berklee College of Music in 2026, she spent her time there getting to know music from around the world and learning how to connect her skills with audiences. Past work experiences include the renowned Blackbird Studio in Nashville, Tennessee.
Her ongoing musical projects include a solo artist project, which you can find here, as well as being a member of the world fusion jam band Cara and the Crowd.
AnneMarie focuses on writing music for advertising and sees it as a way to connect with more people. She takes great pleasure in connecting music not only to visuals, but also to the experience, the feel, the smell, and the taste of your product.
